G'day! First time poster, long time stalker lol. Hoping for some insight please...

I've just pre-ordered the T2 1/3 endo from the Prime 1 website for delivery to Australia. I'm so bloody excited for this dude, however I've now been reading about the button battery issues that have prevented toys being imported into Australia in the past. Is this still an issue, or has it been addressed with these newer products?

I'm hoping someone could provide some clarity as I'm now freaking out I may not be able to import this after all??

Any Aussies recently received Prime 1 products with batteries ok? I believe it's just a matter of making the battery compartment more secure (perhaps with a screw), so hoping that is the case.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! ��

FYI, I received the following positive response from Prime 1 support:

"Thank you for reaching out.

All versions of MMT2-01 can be shipped to AU.

For all of our new releases, button batter issues are resolved. Hope it helps."

Here in the states we have Reese’s law that prevents button batteries but I had no problem ordering the Terminator. I think they’ve change the style of “power up” since…not sure. I’m not aware that law affected Australia in any way, could be wrong. Try ordering TF Blackout and see if you get a warning and then you’ll know for sure.

Thanks for the insight. I ended up cancelling my order with Prime 1 and going with an Australian supplier, which should also save on shipping/import tax. Now the wait begins haha

Does Prime1 have no presence at these cons, or just have nothing to show?
