JND Studios: Indiana Jones

In the JND News July, Daniel makes obvious references to Harisson Ford.

Indiana Jones next?

Two huge, lifelong icons going up in the same quarter.

Uncle.

wait- I just watched it. He's talking about Ford. That part is clear.

OK, I watched it a second time. The other actor he is talking about is Connery and Highlander- so yeah, Indiana Jones. (although the thought of a series of hyper-real Bond actors seems even more tantalizing to me for some reason).
I wonder if the license is specifically for Last Crusade? A father & son dual piece? Probably just mentioned as part of the hint, but hard not to think about given the appeal of their other two character sets.

Sounds like this won't be going up all that soon. Maybe by end of September, when WW went up last year?

Oh man. An Indy Jr. and Indy Sr. duo piece (if done well) would be an instant (but pricey) buy for me. Bring it, JND!

Indy Jr and Sr would sell like mad!

What a great combo that would be for JND!

While I have to admit it was brilliant casting, by the time Last Crusade rolled around, I wasn't as enchanted with it as no doubt many others were. Sublime last shot, though.

The dual piece I would be looking to get would be Indy and Marion. Thankfully, they aren't making it so I don't have to stress on how to afford it.

But again, Barbie hair is going to hold all these back anyway (including the stuff I still have on pre-order).
Hot Toys has now started to follow InArt's lead in using organic fibers. I can already see JND 2.0's getting announced several years from now, relegating all these pricey original figures to also ran, misfit toy status.

Will be tough to top that Blitzway Witcher 1/3 piece (if production comes close to the proto).
