Xm studios: European prices

I open this topic for a simple reason: prices from xm europe.

Like I've written in the general topic, it's ridiculous that xm europe sells same statues of xm.com with higher prices (150 euro or more). For example, Dr. Strange has a normal price of 550 euro, on europe site its price is about 950 euro + 25 shipping. If I add fees and shipping cost to xm.com prices, the final cost is lower (I repeat, 150-170 euro or more)!! I hope someone, from XM, could contact europe official distibutors, because these statues normally have high prices...but with european prices nobody will buy these products in Europe!

I really want to buy Xm statues, this great company, but for their value!

I hope European users, like me, could write their opinions in this topic, for change the situation!

I'm pretty sure XM has explained the reasons for the higher prices before.

If i buy something from USA\Japan stores, I only pay 22% fees (VAT), so i don't find good reasons for the actual prices, only speculation.

I'm curious.
XM website has Dr Strange at $950 SGD which is approx 600 Euro. Not sure why kind of discount a European distributor would get but I'll guess 20% assuming he meets some minimum purchase requirement. So that puts the Dr Strange at 480 Euro. Shipping to Europe I'm sure isn't cheap per unit. Just doing a quick price check from Singapore to Italy for a 50 pound shipment showed almost <gulp> 600 Euro. So for sake of argument lets say there is a big discount to 200 Euro. That brings the price up to 680 Euro. So how much profit is then added in. I'm guessing at least 200 to 250 Euro. And that "conservatively" brings the price to 880 to 930 Euro. Am I off base here in my assumptions?

If the official european site has these prices, for global license like Top Cow, i hope they sell their products directly from xm-studios.com , because this situation is
shameful.

It's ridiculous an official distributor (http://www.xm-studios.eu/), not a simple shop, has speculative prices!

So what is a "non ridiculous" markup? 20 - 50%?

I would assume they are simply passing on the import taxes in their price.
