Am I the only one who just doesn't get the obsession with the Bishoujo line? It just has zero appeal to me. The statues look like dolls and do not truly represent the character.

Bishoujo tend to have more appeal among people who like Asian art sensibilities and like the lower price and scale. In the group I've noticed it leans more women than other statue groups I've followed.

Personally I really like how uniform the pieces are in terms of style and quality. Being stylized the smaller scale doesn't detract the way it can for pieces that strive for realism.
