New Wonder Woman bishoujo

Honestly, Koto is going to make bishoujos out of characters that sell and Wonder Woman does sell. That's why I don't have a lot of high hopes of other lesser known DC and even Marvel characters being made into bishoujo statues.

That's what I was thinking to....

I'm a bit disappointed they would redo WW given their last one is only a year or so old... Would've been nice to get a character they haven't done before. I already have the first WW Bishoujo so this is a easy pass for me...

Crap! Now this made a sour note on this new WW for me. but good catch. I hope they make a big barda Bishoujo soon! Errrr.... Now every time I see this I'm thinking Jean grey.... Was never a fan of the. Jean Bishoujo.

Blast! I was hoping it would be the New52 costume with the shorts. I love the darker blue and red with all the silver metal, and the sword! I think it's an excellent design by Jim Lee, and I would LOVE to have a Bishoujo of WW in the New52 costume!

Hate this form of art for comic book characters. It's a pity they don't make some GiTS pieces, Blood the Last Vampire or Akira.

I like this WW more than the original. But I'm not sure about the jet. I didn't like how that turned out on Jean that much.

There are a bunch of Ghost in the Shell SAC statues. The Beagle/Alter/Vice one can't be topped. There have to be Blood the Last Vampire statues too. I just haven't really looked as I haven't seen the original and only watched 5 or so episodes of the TV show.

It's cool, and I like the somewhat-retro-ish vibe, AND I love WW (esp. the Rucka run) ... but I, too, would have loved to have seen someone new. Will I get it? No question.

For one, I'm glad there's finally a new bishoujo comic release, period (vs. more video games or movie characters -- Star Wars excepted).

But yeah, I'm sure they go with what they think will sell most widely. First the Psylocke re-release, then this. (Granted, the Psylocke is the new larger size, but still.)

Looking forward to Black Canary. I bet she comes out amazing.
