Cleaning older Koto statues
I have a Indiana Jones statue at work that has become really sticky. What is the best way to clean it. Warm water? cold water? Soap/no soap?

What would Indy use? Sorry, couldn't help myself.
This sounds like the issue facing some PVC statues where plasticizers seep to the surface?

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I'm sure some might crucify me for this, but I've washed mine in warm water with dish soap for that. In fact, my Batgirl and Emma Frost need another de-stickifying soon too.

PVC is more forgiving than polystone or cold cast porcelain. Less porous.
