There are a few guest artists that are coming in and doing the flashback and/or non-current story pages. I think Marvel is doing it to give some artists a look and to create a visual break to help the reader more easily tell when the story shifts from current to the past.

I've always enjoyed that style of story telling. Martin Simmonds was pretty good I thought. Wasn't a huge fan of a couple of the others.

Score! I love how a lot of these issues are getting second printings. Such a good book in case anyone hasn't gotten a chance to check it out.
