Mine went right in. I had to insert the tail at an angle and it clipped right in. When I sold my Palisades Queen I have no idea how I got her tail out without breaking the whole statue, it was just stuck. This was a welcome change.

Agreed. I bet you're glad you asked a few months back about her crest coloring.  I don't have the King (still debating it) but I'm glad they took different approaches with the app and how they used the gloss for both.
Btw were you surprised by how they packed her so safely being one whole piece? I was wowed mine came without damage from all the hollow sections inside the clamshell and how everything just rested perfectly. Palisades Queen had these wooden rods you need to tie pieces down and overlap other pieces inside its styrofoam. Packing's definitely come a long way.

I guess I wasn't as surprised, since I got the King first, and he came the same way. Yeah, I was happy the spikes on Queen's back were nice and straight....

They look awesome! The Alien Queen is my all-time favorite movie monster. I want one of these, but I have a lot of money wrapped up already lol. I like the king, but he feels a little too crazy for me.

I actually used all my SS points on Queen, so it wasn't too harsh.
