I think swisher is good for the clubhouse as he brings energy but he is a ghost in the playoffs.. He went 0 for 26 with runners in scoring position in his playoff career with the yanks prior to last years playoffs

ARod Chokes during the playoffs to but do you see them getting rid of him? Swish is a solid player and can handle NY... many other players can't... So why fix something that isn't broken?

Swish is a good clubhouse guy, that's why they kept him, however, he won't be on the team for long.

Correct me if I'm wrong as I don't follow baseball but is there a salary cap yet like other sports have? From what I remember there wasn't and the Yanks would always have a "dream team" each year yet still not win as often as they should if there's no salary cap. How is that fair?

It's a perfect point that buying "top" players doesn't win you championships.. The Yankees have done it since 2002 and have 1 championship to show for it. There are owners of baseball clubs who have money to spend on players but don't want to put it into their ball club.
