The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

thanks for the heads up. Sure XM will do well in this if it includes statues that aren't in hand as yet i.e. mags, phoenix, thanos!

The awards are completely independent from Sideshow and fully generated by our forum reviewing staff. The first of its kind was done back in 2006 and then in 2007. Since then they have been dormant and completely forgotten. Bmutha came with the idea back in March and everything snowballed to transform into what it is today. Every reviewer and Moderator of the forum has been instrumental and has contributed to the thinking and building process. We can't wait to show you the results. The coming days are going to be exhilarating!

A fantastic idea! I am glad to see these awards are making a return after such a long hiatus. Props to everyone involved in making these possible again.

What is considered small, medium, large and extra large statues?? Wouldn't it be easier to have it in scale size?

Here is the complete loadout. We tried to be as concise and precise as possible to avoid overcrowding at the awards.

Oh wow cool never knew they did this in 2006-07! That's really really cool they are bringing this back! I thought it was cool that Sideshow did one too but they need to involve more of the fans in the selecting process of the best of because they did good but it could always be better and more integrated with more interactions with fans!!

It's all laid out in the link JP posted above (also a link in my sig). The categories are divided by scale, but we just thought that "Best Medium Scale Statue" just sounded a bit better than "Best Statue Between 1:8 and 1:6 Scale".

Also, we tried to make the categories such that they had sufficient candidates to create a legitimate competition, but not be flooded with choices. Doing this allowed us to consider each piece...too many in each category would mean many pieces would get easily dismissed.

Remember, this is the first year in a long time. We want to establish the event, make it fun for everyone, and not get too complicated or overwhelmed off the bat.
