Hi Kira,

I just saw the TMNT Raphael statue. This is going to be my first P1 statue. And I don't know if its just bad lighting, and a bad picture, but I have to say Im a little upset with how the top of his shell chest area is painted circular like that rather than blending in with the rest of the shell, varying from the prototype.

Can you confirm that its just this piece that looks like that, and its not on all the production pieces? I understand its not the prototype, but that paint job on the front of his shell in that picture looks terrible compared to what we've seen. Prime 1's supposed to be known for their high quality paint applications, and I seriously hope its just the photo and bad lighting, and that you guys didn't drop the ball, and didnt give these pieces a backseat to give more attention to your other licensed statues. If it looks like that when I get it in hand, I am definitely going to be returning it, and canceling the other turtles.

And where's the rest of the bandana that's supposed to hang over the front of his shoulders, and on his chest area, that's pictured in the proto?

Had the same question also after seeing the production piece photo and I went to look for the old photos of the prototype in shioktoys fb. Found a closer photo of the chest. Seems very similiar between the production piece and the prototype. I think the lighting may have played a part in causing the different look.

I guess by that close up, it doesn't look so bad. Still though, the yellowish color is a bit circular rather than filling out the entire chest plate. I guess Ill just wait and judge it in hand, and make my decision. Thanks for the pic.

Looking at those pictures it looks like TDKR's suit was making Christian Bale suffocate the way his face is forming that duck face lol.
