I got on the WL 7 minutes after it sold out and I got the same email. Seems like BS to me. But I guess if they sold 750 in 11 minutes it is possible to have 300 hundred or more on the WL in 7 minutes. I'm still going to call and complain on Monday.

Pathetic

Love sideshows products most of the time, but their company is run by amateurs....it would not last in a more competative market.

Fingers crossed that xm gets north american distributions and prine 1 separates with them. Would love to see what would happen if sideshow had to actually compete on a level playingfield against xm and p1

And before people start losing their minds...

yes my waitlist got canceled,
yes i am disapointed,
yes the statue looks anazing
...why is this the first time they have done this?
Uh not really. If they set this as EX 3000, you'll have the opposite crowd crying over how high the EX is.

Would have been nice if they let people know how far down the waitlist they are. I'm surprised companies don't disclose waitlist positions to the people who are on it. Would make things a lot easier for both sideshow and consumers. Consumers will keep or drop the waitlist themselves after realizing the odds...and companies would not have to deal with the side stare consumers give them everytime they make a decision regarding this waitlist.

For what it's worth, I'd rather be told "no" today than be told "no" in a year.

It makes sense for the sell out because this was advertised throughout Hollywood as well. Everyone knew this was coming. Even people who aren't collectors. There is probably hundreds on the waitlist and they want us to spend that money on other statues instead of waiting

The way it sounds, I wouldn't be surprised if the waitlist is 1000+ people long. With an ES of 750 and taking maybe 10 minutes to sell out, that's roughly 75 orders per minute. The wait list was up for something like 30 minutes? Assuming the pace of ordering this piece while it was waitlisted was the same as when it was still available, that's 30 minutes x 75 orders a minute = 2250 on the waitlist but this is just me throwing out numbers and pretty much just guessing.
