Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

CS Moore's All New Lady Death

PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release

10/13/06

The CS Moore Studio to Create All New Lady Death Sculpture to
Celebrate the Diva of Death’s 15th Anniversary

The CS Moore Studio is pleased to announce that it has been granted
the license to produce a statue of Lady Death, one of the top-selling
and most enduring independent comics creations of the last decade. The
sculpture is planned to coincide with Lady Death’s 15th anniversary
celebration running all of 2007.

This limited-edition statue will have the detail and quality that
collectors have come to expect from Clayburn Moore and The CS Moore
Studio. This also marks the re-teaming of Moore and Pulido, two
creators who kicked the collectible action figure market and statue
market into overdrive in the mid-nineties.

Brian Pulido, creator of Lady Death is one of the premiere
independent comics creators. Since the early nineties, Brian Pulido's
words and creations have been infecting the wild world of comics and
beyond, creating a legacy of edgy characters and stories with a dark,
rock and roll sensibility that has influenced pop culture and made
underground images mainstream. Recently, he’s been nominated for two
Spike TV Scream Awards.

“Honestly, this is an honor,” Pulido says. “When Clay works on Lady
Death there is almost a supernatural connection between them. He
simply gets Lady Death in a way no other sculptor has: her power, her
sensuality, her regal demeanor. As excited as I am being Lady death’s
creator, I’m even more excited as a Clayburn Moore fan. His work is
unparalleled.”

Said Clayburn Moore, “Lady Death is one of the great characters of
Independent Comics and I think that this will be one of my best
sculptures to date. It’s going to be a pleasure to work with Brian
again on Lady Death and I think fans and collectors are going to love
the result.”

The CS Moore Studio, Ltd was founded in 2005 by renowned sculptor
Clayburn Moore. With over 15 years' experience in the collectibles
business, Moore now directs the CS Moore Studio, which creates
licensed statues, busts, and more based on noted comic book and
fantasy properties, as well as original creations.

Edition size and pricing will be announced on The CS Moore Studio
website as it becomes available. For more information, visit
