What about just light up on just the thrusters on the pre-built ?

I'd love a fully lit ship / kit, but I know I could never achieve a paint finish even close to what Chronicle could do.

That's fair enough, I guess I'd better get saving for two Rodger Youngs!

Nidgit may be on to something, some jet blue LEDs in the rear could look cool if nothing else.

Painting it would be the least of the problems. Drilling 1500 holes and dealing with the rats nest of wiring really does test your patience. .........but it's sooo worth it when you light her up.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I was going to ask but didn't want to push it. There were three versions weren't there? Does this mean the kit version may feature extra decals to make a ship other than the Rodger young in a different config. Maybe some dropships/Tac fighters to hang off the side and place on top in the case of the carrier?

And it looks superb in that picture!! It's further along than I thought, I'll add it to page one.

I agree! Really excited for this, I'm thinking this might be quite stocky at 36" long also, maybe 11-12" from edge to edge on the engines? should make for an impressive display. I wonder if the stand in the picture above is the one that will be on the final piece?

She's quite stocky as well as long.
