For he life of me I don't get this XM vs sideshow crap they are completely different price points I personally like stuff from both but I really don't see how you compare both XM is a premium price so your going to get more for your money prices are going up on sideshow pieces but here statues are getting better also IMO sideshow just have to be on point with the quality control which any company should. As for the people who are happy with there og carnage and venom don't buy the new ones I never had chance on the first ones so I'll be on these as I want a spidey set and I'm not willing to drop mega bucks on og ones

Tip of the day buy what you like !

No one is right or wrong in choosing a piece based on their personal taste.

Ok. So let's just move on and keep the discussions relevant to each piece in their respective threads.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I've always pictured Venom as more of a smooth, sleek, and goopy symbiote while Carnage was the crazy out of control look. The Carnage premium format hits the nail on the head, but Venom just looks too dried up. Hopefully the gloss coat does more for him. Maybe some pearlescent black and blue would bring out the goop look better.

It is indeed. Found this on FB. Looks more Bagley style than McFarlane, but I'm getting him anyway...

I think people get hung up on what will be viewed as the 'definitive' statue of a character. The kicker is that's not even a real thing.

After seeing the YouTube video on the sideshow venom, I must admit it'S pretty good. I think the low quality pics made it look bad, but the vid....not bad.

Yep. People need to say stuff like 'definitive' and 'grail' to feel good about pulling the trigger.

Pro tip: these are whatever you want them to be.
