I'm thinking the same thing, but probably will get Megatron too. I like to have good vs. bad (Prime vs. Megatron, Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow kinda, He-man vs. Skeletor).

HOWEVER, I got to see some WIPs of two other XM Transformers that haven't been officially announced. At least I don't think I've seen them announced anywhere so I won't say more than that, but they look awesome like you would expect. Price is ultimately a determining factor, and as you state, shipping plus msrp will likely price me out as well.

Unfortunately XM latest designs are a double edge sword, they look cool and all but their size is causing major shipping costs... I remember their original Captain America and Black Widow only cost me $160 to ship ea., now shipping costs are hitting $300+ with their latest designs...

Every XM statue I have bought was charged dimensional weight and not actual weight. So the size of the boxes is what's causing the high shipping prices.
