And the actual answer is it's completely irrelevant.
Each statues eBay price will rise and fall solely on its own merit.
Simplistic statues you bought solely "because boobs!" aren't likely to fund your retirement.
Epic sought after pieces will continue to command high prices regardless of whether or not ARH take over the statue world or disappear from it.

Perhaps at a much reduced pace but here's the thing.. he's not a quitter. He's a fighter. He has nothing else. His entire life and career revolve around these statues. He's not the kind of guy to throw in the towel and take a regular 9-5 job to pay bills. He'd rather go hungry making statues and trying to fulfill his dreams than feed himself with the monotony of a 'career'. I got a very intimate view of this guy and his history making statues as far back as his teen years in Brazil. He's had more adversity in his life than most people. He certainly rubs people the wrong way occasionally and I think the current circumstances he is in, are a result of the success he had for a few solid years. Perhaps he over-reached. Now the company is shrinking a bit as logic dictates. Arahom has faced adversity far worse than this. But he NEVER stopped making statues. Bankruptcy or not, he'll soldier on. And I'm certain he will deliver the statues that people have paid for. Perhaps not always in a timely manner but he's not the kind of guy that throws up his hands and walks away.

Jonathan Dewar kind of proves my point in a way. He only delivers what he has available because he doesn't over extend himself. But trust me, he's a long way off from running an operation as complex as Arahom's. The truth is, the people on this fourm represent a pretty small portion of Arahom's customers. The people that are frustrated with the situation tend to be more vocal. There are hundreds of people that get their statues and we never hear a peep from them. Back to the point though - I'm just pointing out that a bankruptcy will have no effect on the aftermarket prices of his statues. First of all, you'll probably never know if he seeks bankruptcy protection because he would never make it public. Second, he won't stop making statues... shrink the size of the company more? Yeah. But stop. No.

I check this section every once in a while to see how bad things are getting with ARH. I love reading bad news about these assholes. I feel bad for current customers though. I tried my best to warn people.

I'm new to this stuff but from what I gathered you did the sculpt of the Frazetta DD on Horse (and the other Frazetta pieces)? If so I'd just like to tell you how much of an amazing piece DD on Horse is. It's my first statue and everyone who's seen it has their jaw drop to the floor and no one I know is even into statues, even the people who thought I tossed money down the drain were blown away by it when they saw it. I actually even like it better than the source material (sorry Frank lol) and that's one of my favorite pieces of art.

I have dealt with Arahom for many years going back to his days in Brazil and even when his house burned down and he lost everything he owned including his dog he still soldiered on and people got their stuff.

Once Hades comes up for pre-order I intend to order on the first day.
I intend the same
