They have posted edition sizes on Facebook. Not sure why they don't list them on their website.

Although, they did recently post a comment on FB that they'd be announcing the ES for Mr Mxyzptlk soon even though they already did. Maybe it's getting changed or lowered? Or I'm just reading it wrong. The comment was "I'll release edition size on the base and Mr M soon...". Maybe they were just saying they'd be releasing Mxyzptlk soon.
I'd be a little interested on how your second question works, too. With the Harley EX, there was a pre-order cutoff date on their site (other retailers sell the regular versions, though). I remember ordering it on the last day and then it showed up as being "sold out". At some point, it became available to order again. Maybe that's just due to cancellations. That was the only one I noticed a cut-off date for unless others were unavailable to order at some point as well and later became available again.
