How often does Yamato do PVC versions of their statues?
Hello everyone.
I've never owned a Yamato piece, but the new Wonder Woman has my attention.
I prefer PVC statues as I need them to ship internationally. PVCs are are not as costly to ship and not as likely to break during shipping.
Currently, the only Yamato PVC I see listed on BBTS is Wonder Woman. So I want to know if this is a one-off thing or do they do this occasionally/regularly for other statues.
Also, I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me how well they scale with 1/6th Kotobukiya ArtFX statues.
Thanks.

PVC statues include 'Golden Lover' by Julie Bell, 1/6 scale Ritual, Medusa's Gaze & Touch of Ice, Harley Quinn (stool version) by Luis Royo and 'Sacrifice' by Dorian Cleavenger. Their production has been more resin recently, but their PVC output is superb. TOI is my favourite statue regardless of material. In recent years making any form of PVC version has been unusual. Prior to that, resin was the unusual variant.
Scale is not something I can answer for on WW.
Regards
Richard.

Touch of Ice was a bit smaller than the 1/6 Koto Artfx, but I’ve had Ritual and Medusa’s Gaze and both of those were closer in scale to 1/6.

Yep, 'TOI' & 'Golden Lover' are about 1/8 scale. 'Ritual' & 'Sacrifice' are close to 1/6.

My favorite by far was Yamato's Black Tinkerbell, also released in both resin + PVC versions,
