I notice that a lot of regular akuma have symbols painted on to them weather it's Shin symbol or the good old fashion Ragging demon symbol.. I just wanna get this straight is the back is suppose to be plain? and if it is painted even though it's nice and all shouldn't that decrease it's value? I might get a regular Akuma down the line and I would prefer to get it the way Jerry Made it not modified but, if the back is painted and the only one to get should we pay more for it... I just might lol just curious on what ya thoughts are on this

Yeah this Akuma on ebay has the kanji on his back and I don't think there is supposed to be. Good custom job though.

I'll pay MORE money for a good modification if it is done right. However, there are people who prefer to pay LESS money for modification.

So, to answer your question..it may or may not decrease the value..depending the buyers...

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I have the opportunity to buy one at this price, and it would complete my SF collection so far, so I am tempted.

I know that a lot of you say "it's worth what you think its worth" or something like that, but what I wanna know is in the future, do you think I would have trouble selling it at this price and do you think that the deal is bad, average, or good.

PS. I did go on Toy Tracker and only 2 in the past year have sold so far, one at 1027 on an auction and the other a 1500 buy it now

Thanks for your input!
Arnt you selling your SF collection already?

Yea, but I might still get an Akuma and/or hold on to the rest of my collection. More focused on individual pieces I like rather than collecting an entire line.

I'm beginning to think that my monthly income of around $0 is not going to be enough to sustain this habit.

I can't confirm since my Akuma is in storage, maybe someone can chime in, but I think regular Akuma did not have the kanji on his back. It's hard to tell on the ebay ad, but based on a pic SquiderM3 took of Shin, the ebay Akuma is close but not perfect.
