Changed up the leather on base, the bronze logo was blending and getting lost in the color of the original brown leather, also have an old faux snakeskin belt that I am going to put on the resurrected beach version.

Going to use this on the beach resurrection base.

Hey warhead do you have some time to go in depth?

How did you come up with clasp in the back? Does it keep tension on the whole leather strap?
It looks so professional and effective.

Congrats hofman! Which one do you like better.

When I 1st got mines and observed them side by side I couldn’t favor one over the other, but with my repainting the warpaint It has easily become my favorite of the 2.

The clasp is magnetic and holds the leather strap ends tight to each other, that way you don’t have to glue it to the base like the factory did.
Got some advice if you want to use another strap on the base, don’t take the old one off like I did, a lot of the paint came off with the glue and was stuck on the very thin strap that they originally have on, just put your new strap directly over the old, that way you can switch it out if you want.
The clasps I got on eBay a couple years back for some other projects I had, just glued some smaller strips of leather into the clasp then rivet the strips to the strap, just keep the strap edges tight to each other before securing the strip rivets to the strap, hope that helps.
