I really enjoyed this movie, the pacing was perfect, atmosphere was really good, and it had a lot of surprises and shocking moments - 9/10
Thinner (1996) - Based on a story by Stephen King, this one is about a greedy overweight man that accidentally kills a gypsy and is cursed by her father. He quickly begins to lose weight due to the curse, and unless he can reverse it he will wither away into nothing. I thought this was a pretty fun movie, but nothing overly spectacular - 7/10

The Batman (2022)
8/10
Watched it today. I liked it. With so much rain and darkness, i got Blade Runner vibes. While i am not familiar with the actor who played Batman, i thought he did an excellent job. I also get why many found the movie boring. For sure it is long, and it lacks the crazyness associated with, for example the Heather Ledger Joker moments.
I must have blinked, as i do not recall seeing the long motorbike? was it in the movie? or did they remove it? ..as i did see Batman on a motorbike, and it was not the long motorbike.
The car chase scene is one of the best car chase scenes i have seen in a while.

Dr strange - 7/10
As a comic fan and someone who heard a lot of rumors going into this, it just wasn’t everything I was hoping for

Dr. Strange (MOM) - 9/10. This is definitely not your typical Marvel formula movie. The horror elements are pervasive throughout the plot. I really enjoyed the ride.

My wife and I just watched French Connection last week. We didn?t think it held up well considering all the more recent movies around the same topic. Best I could give it was 6/10.
