Last I spoke with my MR source, this was not confirmed. I believe they are still looking into it though.

Steve's not really a people person. He says some really stupid things. "Poor Steve"? Poor everyone else! He's a jerk sometimes.

It depends on what people you're talking about. If you mean the morons who relentlessly bash him and the products MR designs, then I can't say I blame him for not being a people person. Everyone else, even those who critique his work, he seems to get along with just fine. As for saying stupid things, well, everyone is capable of that. Just take a look at what the CEO of MR did by making Steve's punishment public; it shows that even CEO's are capable of doing stupid things. But, regardless of jerks who are head of product development and overzealous CEO's, if it weren't for Steve, there simply would be no MR.
