This is really interesting. Capcom have been talking about doing a 2013 Street Fighter 4 update.

Many have speculated that Alex will be a new playable character. The fact that Capcom have redesigned Alex's costume (if only a little) makes me think we are going to see Alex in the 2013 update.

Well, you're on to me. That's exactly why I asked Jerry that question.

His answer also led me to the conclusion that Capcom has some new plans for Alex.

P.S. Another Easter egg for you.

The billboard stage in SFxT has a small billboard in the background on the left side of the stage.

The billboard features Alex. And says "I will be back".

You can see this billboard clearly during the stage transition.

You've got to figure that if Jerry want to release product in conjunction with whatever is presently happening in the game (I.E. have them look the same) Capcom would have to be giving Jerry this information in advance.

That way he'll have time to sculpt, approve, mass produce, tailor, paint and ship the product.

He'd need to plan a year, to year and a half in advance to stay current. (So basically Jerry gets the inside scoop on future stuff to produce)

So, sometimes if you ask nicely, you may grab a clue or two.

Just adds to the excitement if you ask me. For the game and the statue.

Yes, thats one of the reasons i didn't get upset about PCS no longer making mk9 statues. Mk10 should be around the corner soon!
