For me it's that brilliant idea of the Sentinel hand as a throne puts the Magneto sculpt on a level all his own.
I agree. I wouldn't have thought of that for a statue of Magneto. Brilliant concept and awesome execution!

By the way...is anyone familiar with the artist that sculpted this Magneto? I have never heard of this guy before. HIVE I am familiar with and they do awesome stuff!

Artists:

•Studio HIVE (Illustrator , Design and Concept)
•Suheryanto Hatmaja (Sculpt)
•XM Studios Design and Development Team (Design and Concept)

If that is the case, then he will be every bit as a fast seller than Magneto.

I will go out on a limb right now and say Hawkeye just might be their best statue done so far...even better than Magneto in a sense.

I think its just that Magneto is so most wanted by lots of folks that he garners this much attention. I believe if SS had not done a Hawkeye already, he would be highly sought after just like Magneto...if not more.

I don't mean to offend anyone that owns or at one time owned the SS Hawkeye (I did at one time...a very good statue)....but this XM Hawkeye smokes the SS one like a chimney stack. Don't sleep on Hawkeye!!!
Yeah. To be honest, I think the reason Magneto has sold out so fast is a couple of things. 1. The sitting on a throne of Sentinel parts is one of a kind. We've not seen anything like it. 2. There isnt a great 1/4 viable option for Magneto, so again, low supply high demand. For as good as Hawkeye and Thor look, we've seen Hawkeye pointing a bow and we've seen Thor pointing and holding a hammer. They are beautiful, but not exactly unique as far as never have seen it before. They may sell out, but I dont think they will be anything like what we've seen with Magneto or what I promise we will see with Phoenix. But Hulk, Cap, Widow and Iron Man are all still in ready supply. Sure, Cap is sold out on BBTS, but he's still available on mulitple other vendors as well as back channels.

Good thing XM finally got their own subforum and threads for each piece. Before when we had the mono thread....today would have destroyed that. This thread has traveled over 30 pages today.

And grats Eky!

Damn you are right, completely forgot about them.

Maybe they are going the evil route and holding all their allocations and going to put them up next week for $950
