New Mace Windu Fx
Hi Everyone,
This is a good one. We got in our newest shipment of Mace Windu FX Sabers. One of my customers who received one thanked me for sending him the new ROTS verion of the Mace FX. Now I was puzzled??? I looked at the shipping cartons and they are all now Episode 3 versions of the Mace Saber. From what I know the new Episode 3 versions of the FX sabers take 3 batteries. When we opened one of the new Mace Episode 3 FX sabers, it was the same 6 battery version as the AOTC Mace. Strange they changed the outer shipping carton and Saber carton to say Episode 3, when they are still the AOTC version. MR's website has no reference to an Episode 3 FX at all. I just emailed my rep about it. So if you see a listing on a website for the new Mace Episode 3 FX. It's the same as the original AOTC version.
Thanks,
Mike

I *think* the difference is that this new Mace FX has better LED's
& internal parts that allow it to shine brighter & sound better.
Could be wrong though,

Hi SS,
Nope, it's the same exact saber. The new internals/circuitry are on the new Vader ESB and Anakin ROTS. They just put a new label on an older item.
Thanks,
Mike

They did change the Luke sbaer and gave it the newer power up feature compared to the old one. Did the old mace just turn on or did it light-up from the bottom to the top of the blade?

So, if they're calling this re-issue the EPIII version.....chances we wont be seeing another EPIII version with updated electronics that uses only 3 batteries , released later down the road. Right? So, if I want one ( which I do ) I should go ahead and order one, instead of waiting for an updated version.

Mike did say he was going to e-mail his MR rep about this so you might want to wait and see what he reports back.

I think Berry or was it Steve mentioned in one of his posts that there won´t be a updates version of the mace FX. So if You want one get it now.
