Just saw this today and utterly underwhelmed, not a film I want to watch again, the pacing and story was all over the place.

Also Ultron was seriously underpowered, I was expecting the full team to face off against his final beefed-up form but it never happened, Ultron even had a hard time taking care of Cap during the Korean motorway scene, there was a shot where Cap was punching the 8 foot tall metal Ultron with his bare fists on top of that lorry and knocking him back, this is suppose to be one of the most powerful villains in the Marvel universe.

So much disappointment I'm having a hard time processing it all.

I just saw it today and it was not very good. I did not care for Ultron's design and hated the moving mouth. It just looked fake.

The movie was so choppy and had so many scenes that should have been cut out (farm house and flashback for example). T
The movie just had no real tension or drama and felt very rushed. What a shame. I was planning on going tomorrow again to see it with the kids but no chance I could sit thought it again. Sigh.

Alan Silvestri was really missed too, as the score was not nearly as memorable as the original Avengers soundtrack.

Overall, a 5 out of 10 for me and probably my least favorite Marvel movie next to Guardians (I was not a fan of the overboard comedy in that one).

I personally even like Agents of Shield TV show over Avengers 2.

The Avengers banner displayed at Alamo Drafthouse Austin.

And this was given to the Ultimate Marvel Marathon attendees who saw all the 11 movies over 27 hours.

Saw it last night. Lots of fun but just good not great. Didn't get the same "wow" as when I saw the first one, but I think Infinity War is gonna be insane.

Why Joss Whedon Cut The Hulk’s Best Scene From AGE OF ULTRON | Badass Digest
Hopefully we get to see that Hulk scene in a future Marvel movie and nobody will spoil it before that.

And here is another Whedon article which I shared in the other Marvel thread.

And this applies to most franchise characters in general. And despite that when the audience gets concerned about the outcome for a character from a dicey situation, that's when you know that those are compelling characters.

Grr, talk about a non-story. Doesn't matter if it's sports, movies, etc... these kind of articles vex me!

But thanks for sharing all these links, Spideristic. I do appreciate 'em 99.99% of the time.

Definitely not as EPIC as the first hut an enjoyable movie. I was really disappointed that they killed Quicksilver. They could have easily used the machine that created Vision to heal him. The cut scene could have been him recovering in the tube. Lots of lost opportunity. I enjoyed the Vision even though he didn't get as much screen time as I would've liked.

My rankings for all comic movies is now:
Captain America: Winter Soldier
Avengers / Avengers: Age of Ultron (tied for 2nd)
Iron Man / Thor / Captain America: The First Avenger (tied for 3rd)

I will be going to see Avengers AOU again soon.
