Wow she really came out nice! I’ll keep an eye out for her down the road if the price drops...

Pretty face. Pity about the seam, but I can live with it.

Seeing the pics with the seam looking very apparent makes me glad that I did not get the statue because the seam would bother me. However I am assuming that this is not the case with all of the WW statues where it appears that other pics show that the seam is not apparent at all.

I wonder if this issue could bring up the discussion that is an exclusive variant needed. Now the Wonder Woman variant to me seemed very daring with all of the options that were offered but was it necessary to produce. I wonder if too much was offered and if for this statue it almost went overboard.

Thanks to Khufu for taking pics from those angles- much appreciated.

She is pretty, but I don't think I can live with it.

Even while apparently better than Karnis' sample, the effect of the seam in those pics is, frankly, awful.
And it's further exacerbated by what looks to be some Superman-level shoddy paint on the body section at that join.

This was a nice sculpt undone by a terrible production decision.

Since these latest pics look like a best case scenario as far as tightness of that seam, I think I'm finally out now.
I just can't hang with that.

Congrats to those who can.

Too many other options for my $ out there now to settle for such a poor design choice implemented in a key focal area.

Yeah that seam is noticeable even from normal viewing distance...

I went back to look at early pictures of WW and almost all of them were a straight on shot which makes it impossible to see the seam... I looked at some of the promotional pictures SS has up and there is one shot from the side but I don't see a seam, so one of 3 things is going on..

1) The Seam on the prototype was so thin it wasn't noticeable
2) The Prototype that was used for the promotional material didn't have a seam
3) They photoshopped the seam out for the promotional material...

I’m betting #2. If it had a seam in San Diego, I’m pretty sure I would’ve noticed.

Seam is definitely a bummer, especially for the non-ex people (majority of owners) who get nothing in return for it at all. Particularly crappy deal for them. The few ex people at least get disply options in exchange for the seam... everybody else just gets the seam.

What a strangely designed and easily avoidable flaw. Oh well!

I'm more and more starting to be against switch out parts. I admit all the change outs were a plus for me. But this neck seam is a real bummer. And no this was not At SDCC with the seam. I was there and looked closely.
