Damn. nerve wrecking game decided by penalties The Dutch played a bit better IMO and this was not deserved. When Ron de Vlaar took the first penaltykick I told my son he would miss and he did Dont know what Wesley was doing :\ Penaltykicks are like russian roulette with some players but with Wesley I was surprised he missed.

Well it's over, Deutschland World Champion , I would be very surprised if Argentina could beat them, seeing as how they played today.

Now let's see if we can make Brazil cry even more but it would be great if Brazil gets third place, it's their turf after all.

I don't see how this Argentina team can beat Germany, but anything is possible I guess. Brasil NEEDs to win third place.

As a Latin American, I am rooting for an Argentinian win. Although I know it will go to their heads (The Maradona complex). Germany is a great contender and definitely the favorite, but this is American turf and South Americans will unify themselves. I am also rooting for Brazil. I dislike the Dutch after eliminating my Concacaf teams.

Excellent Game and deserved win IMO. I'm rooting for Argentina and Messi.
I don't want the Germans to win, they are just too technical and mechanical. If i saw a little flair, it'd be more fun. Maybe it's coz my wife's supporting them :-P .. Fragging Mueller :-P

Don't think Brazil can beat Netherlands for 3rd place.

Germany vs Argentina are definitely a World Cup classic. A lot of history, rivalry and bad blood. It is going to be an spectacular game!

I agree. Both VanPersie and to some degree Robben were no shows.

I hope Brazil will win the small final in their own country, it could be helpful for the soul healing of the folks.
2006 we lost also the semifinal in our own country, and it was very hard. But the team played a fantastic small final and made the third place, it was comforting at the end.

And we will try to prevent that their biggest rival will triumph in their famoust Stadium.

3-0 for us. It's over for Brasil... but also for us it ends here. I would have loved Holland Vs Germany. Maybe next time!
