Looks like Prime 1 is covering all the bases with this masterpiece. Now if only they'd consider replacing the fabric cape with lightweight fibreglass....

Not gonna happen. I asked Kelvin about it, and weight is their main concern.

I didn't figure it would, but there's no harm in asking. I completely understand the weight aspect as no one wants to end up with a leaning Superman, but there's a huge difference in weight between fibreglass and polystone. Either way, it's definitely not a deal breaker for me.

It would be interesting if someone did a custom sculpted cape with a light material. The Resinworx Man of Steel has a very light-weight sculpted cape that looks great.

Was thinking the same thing earlier and actually looking for this pic when i saw you bumped it forward. Things gonna be like 41" tall with the revised portrait, i just straight up dont want to have a shelf that tall. I dont wish it was different though , pose is awesome, should be huge and epic and it is

And just a reminder, Doomsday is 38"H.

With the rotating display they have for the base. It may not be a viable option. Would be great though.

Just seeing these pics today for the first time. Wow, I'm really disappointed. I was so looking forward to this but easy pass now. Pose is perfect, but the musculature is terribly overdone and the head sculpt isn't Superman at all. That face belongs on a Punisher statue, not Superman. What's with that giant jaw? Looks like his jaw is 1/3 and the rest of his head is 1/4. And neither the body or the face look anything like Lee's work in Hush.

Sadly, I agree with every word.

If so, that's the same height as the 1/2 scale Supes.

Fiberglass would work, it’s light and very strong.
