Yeah they only have Monsters Inc out for Pixar, and the variant that was recently dropped at sideshow. I think sideshow will carry all of the Disney variants for Mondo. So we might see alternate versions of a lot of these. So far they released Tron Uncut, Steamboat Willie and Monsters Inc. variant.

I wonder why SS doesn't release more posters?

I think Mondo and Sideshow only teamed up under the Disney license.

It might have something to do with their deal with Mondo. I'm sure they would want more, but its probably up to Mondo to produce them for sideshow, and i guess they will get around to it when they have time. Currently they seem to be swamped with work, and the screen printing process is all done by hand. i heard it could take months for a full run to be completed for some prints. I'm sure Sideshow's partnership with Mondo is allowing Mondo to produce Disney licensed posters though since sideshow has the Disney license already they probably just extended it to Mondo and allowing themselves to get all the variants. It's a sweet deal for the collectors, and based on the Monsters Inc. turnaround on the variant they seem to be speeding up on the interval for sideshow/Mondo pieces.

What are these WOOD VARIANTS? The print/image is branded on the wood or something? I noticed other Mondo wood pieces. What's the jig on these? They look pretty nice. Anyone see any in person?

it was a SDCC exclusive, printed on wood and limited to 75. They should have a regular release soon.

I hope to god they have a regular print release, one of Martin's best work awesome poster. Some people don't like the negative space but i think Martin pulls it off and makes the art pop more. Martin's a master at composition and design i love that about his art style, i just recently got his Space Seed poster and it's fantastic in person as well.

Ah ok well that's more understandable than paying $400 for a poster.

Thanks for the info! I still hope SS gets more posters at some point though.
