Whoever lives near these theaters is lucky. Some great films are screening this summer.

May 11 – CONAN THE BARBARIAN * - They won't be able to top the original one sheet but like the TRON posters I want to see if they can make a worthy companion piece.
May 18 – THE ROAD WARRIOR
May 25 – ROCKY III
June 1 – POLTERGEIST
June 3 – STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN * - I hope Martin Ansin does it this time.
June 8 – E.T.
June 22 – THE THING * - I hope they manage to top the Tyler Stout version that goes for crazy amounts.
July 6 – TRON * - How can they top the already released Martin Ansin poster or the original one sheet? I'm curious what they'll do this time around.
May 9 – VICE SQUAD
June 6 – ESCAPE 2000
June 20 – THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER
July 1 – THE SECRET OF NIMH
July 9 – PINK FLOYD: THE WALL
July 10 – CLASS OF 1984
July 13 – FRIDAY THE 13TH: PART 3 IN 3D * - I really don't like this F13th. It's really dumb and forgettable. But maybe Mondo can make something cool with the poster.
July 17 – HALLOWEEN 3 * - This is probably the only Halloween movie I like other than the original. Mondo might come up with something interesting for this one.
July 24 – Q: THE WINGED SERPENT
July 28 – THE DARK CRYSTAL
August 12 – FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH
August 25 – THE LAST UNICORN

The link says no Blade Runner. But I hope somehow they are still trying to screen and make a poster for the film.

Who's up for Road Warrior this week? Mondo has so much going on these days that I thought it's time to bump the Summer of 82 thread.

Well with the Conan poster a total disappointment I am hoping for something good for the Road Warrior. I haven't seen this image yet, is it online yet?

I'm all but certain whatever they come up with for The Road Warrior won't top Stout's work.

Mondo email today said they are selling extras to Conan so they do appear to be hitting retait after the movie night (if any are left).
