I remember being kind of excited when i first saw SS pf but over time i realized how much of a dud it was, imo anyway glad i never bought it.

And why is that green post leaning anyways and why is it green? Or is that a post or actually what is that ? Terrible base sorry. Such an iconic huge character and a wasted opportunity imo!

that's cool, again that's all in your opinion LOL!!!

IMO the XM base is terrible and totally detracts from the main character. it's distracting while the SS statue is iconic... IMO

funny how folks get offended when others share personal preference

And that's why I stated IMO (In My Opinion)

If you think elaborate bases distracts from the main character, then you must hate comics books with all those backgrounds behind the main character, must be so distracting

Just kidding

Probably because it's taken damage from the rogues attacking Spider-Man...

While this piece does nothing for me personally, it’s admittedly miles better than the Sideshow piece where Spidey is jumping over that loaf of bread.

The XM Spider-Man statue that intrigues me is the Impact piece. That thing not only has a definitive pose but one hell of a complimentary base/environment. Can’t wait to see it painted.

Like I always say ...pick your poison! Get the one that works for you!

The SSC PF works for me. So much so ...I even got the symbiote variant PF. Obviously, I think the SSC PF is the better one.

I own ;

Both PF versions
Back in Black
OG comiquette
Campbell 1/5 scale
Tiger J Studios custom on pre order

Countless smaller scale Spideys. I can say 100% I will not be adding this Spiderman. I like the figure ( not unmasked portrait it’s terrible ) but the base absolutely kills this for me.

I like all of those except that Tiger J. The base is absolutely gawdy on that one.

I don’t think so compare to XMs base it’s miles ahead . Once painted with light up it will be fantastic . It’s already getting huge money it hasent even been painted yet. That’s the beauty of collecting .

Spidey is the art style of McFarlane is so iconic and no company was going to give me what I wanted so this piece was a no brainer . Put it at 1/3 scale to boot and it’s one of the more impressive stand alone centre pieces in any Spidey collection. That’s my two cents
