Thor batters Wolverine until his insides are complete mush and he loses consciousness until his organs heal. He cannot withstand this level of beating. One shot from Mjolnir should do it...if a lightening bolt doesnt incinerate him first.

I see Wolverine dodging many of those attacks and getting in a few slashes of his own no?

Back in Dan Jurgins' Lord Thor series Wolverine and Thor went at each other. Wolverine actually sliced off one of Thor's arms but then Thor basically disintegrated Logan down to his skeleton. Of course, Thor had the Odinpower then but, then, he's got the Odinpower now so I think a new battle between them would go the same way. Logan would draw some serious blood but Thor would put him down.

It was after this story that, during the Civil War storyline, Nitro burned Wolverine down to his skeleton but Logan was able to regenerate himself. Since then, when Logan battled the Angel of Death (I think, Chaykin drew this one), Logan lost his death defying healing factor (healing factor's still there but it was stated that he now could die). So, back to the Lord Thor story days, I'd say Logan's a gonner.

Good points Joe but I should have made it clear that the Thor I intended for this versus battle is the regular version without the Odinpower.

It's effected by Magnetism so I would assume so, yes.

The god vs. the runt? Do you think Wolverine can fight Giant snow ogres or the Silver Surfer? Thor would tear wolverine apart.

I think Thor wins this one but not without Wolverine doing major damage to Thor's kneecaps !!!
