Wow, I’m not sure I can choose between these two. Aaargh. Probably Simonson Thor. But it’s like choosing between Apple and Cherry Pie. Both are wonderful. If I had to have one over the other, I’d say Apple Pie and Simonson Thor.

Ahhhhh, & this is where my friend & I part ways. I have both but I say go Ennis' Punisher. IMO, the best written comic in the modern era. I LOVED his take & have the complete run, the orig. Omni & the hdbk collected editions of the MAX & Knights runs. This omnibus is just incredible. Sorry, Joe.

Both are amazing. I have both - Love both. It's like comparing Star Wars to Godfather. Two very different films. Imagine loving both genres equally!

Get both Ennis Punisher and Simonson Thor and leave rest to an another time. My next purches will probably be JLI Omni after Ennis Punisher and Simonson Thor. I hear that JLI is pretty good.

Did you see The Marvel Solisitation for January ?

There are two Wolverine Omnis other than The Punisher Max Omni... This is not good, i need those Wolverine Omnis. They are The Wolverine Goes to Hell Omnibus and Weapon X The Return Omnibus. I will get three omnibuses at January, if i can... And i was planing to finally get the Claremont Uncanny X-Men Omnis but they have to wait some more now. I missed the Wolverine Omnibus and Wolverine and The X-Men Omnibus and learned my lesson... Never again.

I would love a Byrne Superman Omni. I loved some of those issues.

I would also love an artist featured omnibus on Arthur Adams.

While on the subject - an artist featured omni on Jim Aparo's work on Brave and the Bold and Detective would be awesome as well...

This is the eventual plan, but I can only get one for the time being. Maybe will ask for the other Christmas or something. But I just wanted the experts to weigh in on one book to buy.
