This is why I believe they were asked to change it. Like you pointed out, Sideshow doesn't typically change anything based on fan reaction.

But I’m confused. If it is Marvel, they don’t even ask their interior artists to “make her look more Asian”, so why do that in a statue?

I am so baffled by this. I really hope Igo comes in and doesn’t give us some BS song and dance - just be straight up.

I don’t buy it, these things get pre approved by marvel/disney long before we(the public) see them. I don’t believe for a second that marvel/disney or whoever made SS change anything. This is another in a long line of bad decisions by whoever is making these decisions over at SS.

Well, I know for a fact that isn't the case for many companies...that's why you often see the "pending licensor approval" signs next to stuff...I don't see why Sideshow would be any different. And, even if Disney approved it before, who is to say they didn't change their mind? It wouldn't be the first time. This last minute change just seems very un-Sideshow like to me.

Definitely less sales on this statue now. No question about that.

It's like SS wants the money, but then they don't do what fans want.
