Is water and soap wise to use though?

Silly Sarfaraz, I would never clean one of my statues with soap and water. I can't treat them like my car.
Especially a Pop Culture product. I'm too afraid to even put Scorpion back in the box so he stayed out.
For a guy that kills you in evil ways, he sure is fragile

I'm the same with Vega. Luckily, I like him enough to not want to box him away any time soon. Can you imagine how hilarious it would be if his hair and claws were just as flimsy in the games, though?

Sorry to revive this thread, but what would be the best way to remove dark tiny dust specks that love to stick, or smudges on top of a PCS piece's paint?
I've been using a makeup brush to keep my statue clean, but there are like 2 of these little nuisances I don't know how to get rid of (or how they appeared to begin with). And I'm scared of pressing harder on the statue. I'm worried it's from the brush itself, so I gotta get a new one asap.
But I've just been curious how the other collectors deal with these, outside of what's already been said in this thread. Googling didn't help as it usually directs me to plastic action toys and such.

Swifter duster and most of my stuff is in well sealed Pulaski cases so very low dust even after almost 10 years.

and I'm just watching the bottom of my Conan's base slowly swell, no need for dusting because it wobbles all dust away
