Bases are pretty good.

Yes they're decent I would say but nowhere in the same ball park as the Bowens but you're paying similar prices for them. That's the reason sometimes I wish they had other artists to give Erick a hand on these pieces particuarly the bases as there are some incredible digital artists who could add so much more punch to the overall piece.

This coming from someone who has 15 Fine Art pieces so by no stretch am I criticizing Ericks work, LOVE what he does but I believe different artists have different strengths and these pieces benefit the best when they're sculpted by different artists with different specializations If that makes sense.
So true. They did that on their 1st Psylocke statue. I read somewhere that someone else did the sentinel hand and it turned out amazing. Probably the best statue+base combo Kotobukiya has ever released.

I really don't like the base that the Brown Wolverine comes with...the colors look bland to me when comparing them to the Bowen Retro Cable Sentinel head. I do like the base that Rogue has though so I'm very interested in seeing how she turns out in hand.

I wonder if they're going to make Black Panther standing straight up in museum pose or crouching a bit.

My money's on it being semi-action, like all of Erick's sculpts for Koto.

Looking forward to Black Panther's debut. Hopefully more hidden surprises by Koto on the Fine Art side.

Fooled me too. Lol. We're just a few days away! I'm very anxious about Koto's upcoming fine art statues. There better be more than one besides Rogue, Kotobukiya! Preferably 2-3 more.

Welcome to THE statueforum, jingkoo.

My guess is yes, maybe not fully painted, but at least a prototype.
