Also, lets not forget it was the Savage Hulk or "dumb" hulk who lifted a multibillion ton mountain range and smashed a comet the size of earth. You also forget that Hulk has a good as a regeneration factor as wolverine. Superman caps at strength, but the hulk could survive long enough for him to reach a level of dominant strength and tear him a new one.

Ok, I read the wiki entry and the it does not state pre-crisis had no limit.
