I get that people didn't like the large body - but look at Nearmints picture above and then look at now. I mean WTF!
Joker went from looking cool and menacing to a perv getting his flasher outfit ready.
Sorry if I sound over dramatic but I haven't kept up on this and the change is just crazy.

So do I. Without the big guy, there's really no reason for the base to be so big. It also tells a story, the Joker has bested the leader of Yakuza (I'm guessing?) and is taking over as head of the organization.

Still struggling to understand what they're going for with that base. Lots of dead space, I don't know what that ramp is all about, and what's the story with the armor suit? Seems all over the map.

 Pretty sure that's a table that has been destroyed.
I like the piece, but I hate, hate, hate the huge suit of samurai armor next to him.
They need to lose that (or make it optional).

I don't see a need for such a huge base like this one, especially when it doesn't really add much to the piece. I think the character design is strong enough to convey a story without the needed bulk and weight of everything else around the figure. IMO, it only distracts the eye.
