what they should do is allow people to buy 2 tix max. What is it now, 3 or 4? That's ridiculous. Also, when someone's friend gets in and buys tickets for others that are also waiting in line, those people should then be kicked out of the line, so as not to hinder other's odds

I've never been and am going to try to go this year. I'm not sure which days are the best to attend. Is there enough to see to go all four days?
Also any other tips from SDCC veterans are appreciated. Thanks.

You'll never get to take it all in 4 days. You have to pick and choose what you want to do each day.

Anybody that missed out on pre-registration want to team up with me and a friend for Saturday? 3 chances are better than 1.

There is an over abundance to see, but what do you like? limit it to that. There is so much that you probably are not interested in all of it. Much of the event things to see require waiting in long lines as well.
Or trying to get con exclusives can be a major pain and sometimes not worth it.

I've been going since 79, only missed a few years since. I am a local. I used to go two days but as things got crazy I'm in and out in 5 hours one day only.
Now days I'm there to see statues and other products in person to decide to pre-order or not.
So please color me a jaded veteran. LOL
It is still a great thing to experience, but my tolerence level has dropped because I remember the easy years.

Thanks for the input! I guess I will try for all 4 days since I'll be taking my child and we have never been. We will have different things we want to see, so I doubt we'll get bored.
I'm supposed to work on Saturday, but it sounds like I should take the day off. From reading the directions on the website about the Epic waiting room, registration sessions, etc. it sounds like a very time-consuming process to buy the passes.

Yeah, it's a roll the dice situation these days.
Getting all four days would be like winning the lotto.
If you get one day feel lucky.

Had the similar experience last year and before that...

I have not been since 2009 because I have not been able to get a ticket. Before that I would go every year or every other year. The days when you could stand in line outside the convention center and get a ticket...
It's ridiculous now

anyway I will try again this Sat.

But funny anyone that has tried to get into SDCC knows this scene (while funny) is quite inaccurate (from my experience).
