Spoiler-
I loved the "General, would you care to step outside" line. Perfect!
Also, Blake Neely gets how to score a show. Loved hearing all the main themes when it would show the hero. Loved it. The only downside is i thought they forced too many homosexual moments, not needed and did nothing to the story. Seems to happen in every show these days.
The sequence where they geared up in the second ep was also great.
I loved the crossover even more than the Justice Lesgue movie.

I wish they would leave the romance and sex out of these types of shows, it's not needed... If I want romance I'll watch a chick flick, if I want to watch people have sex I'll rent a porn.
All I want from my Hero shows/movies are a great story and great action, leave the other crap out of it...

Just watched the mid-season finale.
Wow ... if you scrape off the episode's silly flotsam & goofiness, including the Katee Sackhoff arc with her ridiculous British accent, the key Thinker' storyline was/is excellent. I was surprised at the ending & really liked it. Although ... I'm very much going to miss the departing actor.

Been a while since I've been able to say ... last night's Flash was a good episode. I should probably be paying attention more to the episode writers, because last nights episode - Enter Flash Time - stood apart from the feel, so far, of season four. A stand-alone episode with little filler & silly added characters. Flash dealt w/ a situation that only he was qualified to tackle. Thought it was a great show.

I enjoyed last nights episode as well, I thought it was a nice touch that Iris' idea ended up saving the day after all the huge brains tried and failed
although the preview for next weeks episode where Iris gains speed powers looks a bit cringe worthy lol

To me it comes off like the writers are desperate to try and make the Iris character relevant to the show. In seasons 1 & 2 all she did was write puff pieces about the flash and now she's the leader of the group?
The latest episode where she gets Flash's powers wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, although there were still a few cringe worthy Iris moments in it...
All I know is this actress must have some good blackmail material on the producers of the show to go from a minor character in seasons 1 & 2 to being one of the main characters in seasons 3 & 4... I rather they give Cisco and Caitlin more air time and just get rid of the Iris character all together. I mean half the time it seems like she's just reading lines that were originally written for Cisco or Caitlin anyways..

So we're one episode away from season 4's finale. I was reading on the Gotham thread complaints about how these super-hero shows are just running too many eps. a season, watering down the core-plot with just a bunch of crappy filler & I couldn't agree more, especially with The Flash. The Thinker's been a great villain this season & if only the show had stayed focused on just him & his wife, this season could have been just fine. The opening scene of this week's show, showing a fight between the Thinker & a heavily fortified govt. supers-prison was amazing! A great 7 minutes of The Flash. but then .... we had all the other stuff which just bogged down the show. This season will go down as probably the worst so far, but it didn't have to be.
