$15K Later.....
I saw this awesome Brian Bolland Judge Dredd colour cover on ebay earlier this week and wondered in whose collection it would end up - now I know! You can view it here - http://tinyurl.com/qlyejn
It was acquired by long-distance mate Dave Mandel who won it for just over USD$15K! Glad he won it because Dave extended a kind invitation to visit his home when I next return to SDCC (2010) so I'll get a chance to see it in person next year 
Truly amazing cover!

Doesn't Dave Mandel own all six Byrne Man of Steel covers? Bolland is one of the greatest artits in comics.

Hey IB,
Dave does indeed own all 6 covers and his collection of Watchmen pages and related pieces is also incredible!
For those not familiar with Dave's background, he's been involved as a writer for Saturday Night Live, Seinfeld, co-directed the movie Eurotrip and currently involved as an Executive Producer/Director for the HBO show, Curb Your Enthusiasm. Best,
