I think people wanting a "classic definitive" Venom are going to be disappointed. A switch out head isn't going to change the very creature like body I'm seeing (tendrils or not).

The more I look at this, the more I am thinking I probably won't like it. I agree about the head looking too small for the body, and there's quite a lot of texturing going on. If they add a bunch of tendrils too, that will be a no.
But, I'm trying to keep an open mind.

Really want to be excited by this...but...I guess I have to wait and see. So far its just meh... seriously hoping this will blow my socks off. Fingers crossed.

Well, one could argue that Larsen is classic, since he predates Bagley's work. But i know what you mean. I do love McFarlane's less teeth, but Larsen's Venom is my fave.
