Juggernaut set the bar on price. Expect this one to be more, especially if there if a healthy pre-order number on Juggs.

I agree with setting the price but SS is not smart if they make it more so fast. I doubt they will make it more back to back setting a higher bar. They know the outrage from the last release already.

Sure, but i doubt they expected a negative response to such a degree, not only were people upset about the price but some were underwhelmed by the statue as a whole. And with such an early release (aug-oct) this jean pf revealed immediately after felt like a damage control play imo.

Smart by ss to release a big price item, then to release a jean that they know we all will love, with the lower price and sex appeal to calm people down slowly. Then try to increase prices slowly again so the sticker shock fades and we can all complain again once the 1500 becomes the norm.

It was 100% damage control. You don't release a 2nd beloved character with no hype build up and P.O. in 1 week! Every X-men and villian has had a tease and hype period since this new line started again with Wolverine. I think SS has really learned thier lesson with Juggy, which makes me hope Hulk will be priced around 1000-1100. This is a 2nd sculpt of this character and doesn't have the Huge Hype juggy had with never being done before.
