Disney+
Even with all the new shows I may hold off on signing up for Disney+. I’m not going to be watching on my phone or iPad. I’m hoping LG is working with Disney to get an app for My LG. Watching via the browser app isn’t exactly that great and I’ve got one of the latest LG HD OLED 65” TVs.

I'm confused. Isn't being offered on every streaming platform?

I would think Apps would be in development for video game consoles and smart televisions.
I'm holding off on Disney + and see how to unfolds for a while before deciding.

"Is LG going to work on getting a Disney+ app for their TVs? I’d hate to think I have to go through the browser to watch it."
"At this time, we do not have any information regarding a potential Disney+ app. We’ll be happy to forward this to our Software Team to review for possible inclusion. You can also reach out to Disney directly to request to have their content made available to LG customers."

I'm sure every smart TV will have the ability to get it. If not that would blow my mind.

At some point, sure. Building, developing, testing and rolling out a new app will take time. I'm not counting on it being available in November.

"Disney Offers First Look at Upcoming Disney+ App, Launching in November for $6.99 Per Month [Update: Will Be Available on Apple Devices]"
"In an interview with Bloomberg, Disney CEO Bob Iger said that the Disney+ app will "in all likelihood be available through traditional app distributors, with Apple being one of them." There was no official announcement Disney about platforms beyond Roku and Sony because Disney hasn't "made deals with all of them yet."

I'll be under too much pressure to sign up day one for a shared account with my family.
It shouldn't be a problem since I watch 99% of my television via Apple TV. Even cable news and live sports I watch through the cable provider app. It's more reliable than my temperamental cable box.
