Is there any logic behind Gentle Giant statues for sale on ebay?

1. USA
Americans make up the majority of sellers. I'm guessing there are more collectors there. They aren't hit with import tax, and benefit from lower shipping costs, presumably they own the majority of statues produced by companies located in the US.

2 . Australia - The Australians appear to be close behind the Americans when it was to selling statues (presumably they buy more also?) They appear to want to sell at lower prices compared to many other sellers? this makes no sense, other than maybe Aussie collectors loose interest faster, or need access to cash quicker?

3. Italy and Germany appear to rate around 3rd place. The Italians tend to want about £300 ($400) more than the Germans for the same statue, which makes zero sense, as both are located in Europe. I guess Italians want to make a larger profit.

4. Japan. The Japanese nearly always want crazy high prices?

5. France. The French crop up quite often, and tend to want the same high prices as the Italians.

6. UK. Given UK sellers have probably had to pay a hefty 20% import tax, high shipping costs, the average UK seller tends to offer a middle of the road deal, higher than a US seller, lower than a French / Italian seller. I get the impression they are happy to get their money back without making a lose. There appears to be fewer UK sellers.

On the subject of Gentle Giant and ebay prices, some statues appear to crash in price (Maggie Green, Sucker Punch Zombie, Iron Man), while others rocket in price (Sucker Punch Baby). I'd have to place to logic and supply and demand. In reality, all are resin + paint apps. Maggie Green is in person, an excellent statue
