Blizzard Collectibles - what are the differences between 1st and 2nd editions?

I tried scrubbing through some threads here, and I came up short with an answer. A quick Google search had a website talking about Widow when she was being put up for pre-order, and there they said that she quickly sold out but that more than likely a 2nd edition would be made so anyone that wants her can get her.

SO... What are the differences between editions? Is the packaging changed, are the colors of the statue itself changed, do the 2nd editions have the potential to be better than the 1st by fixing any unseen errors (molding, paint app, etc)? Or does simply having a 1st edition just give you status over those that don't?

Thanks!

for tracer the second edition had a much better face sculpt than the original.

In general second edition means these arent limited edition statues and they will continue making more of them in bulk.

I wouldnt worry about too much changing from one edition to the next.

So their website now says Tracer is out of stock ...but without the option to buy from Wave 3 ....or Wave 2 for that matter.

https://gear.blizzard.com/us/categor...-tracer-statue

Does this mean Tracer is sold out ...or do you think they will get more stock?

I was not aware that Tracer was ever listed on their site with waves? It was always just out of stock, or not, I thought....

Before they switched to the improved website, they did sell her in waves. I distinctly remember, because I held off on the first wave. Then I saw her on the second wave.

I could be wrong ...but I could've sworn she was.

I agree they sold her in batches, but I don't recall the term wave ever being used on the page. For me the first time I saw the term wave was with Reaper. But maybe I just missed it on Tracer's page....
