Also Jerry did keep the prices on Kitana and Mileena low as an apology to those who ordered the 1:3 Ninjas.

I'll be skipping this and the Green Ranger all because of prices, i don't like it but that's the way it is.
You're not the only one. I think a number of collectors are moving in that direction. I've passed up on a lot of things I liked because of price. Just getting priced out.

I like the concept of the piece though. It reminds me of the Sideshow Chernabog design.

You do know we still use USPS for international, right?

Someone might be able to correct me, however I'm fairly sure that Lovecraft is in the public domain now?

I'm sure someone will ownt he rights to using Cuthulu as a character.

The books might be in public domain but someone will still own the characters and merchandising etc i'm sure.

For instance the Conan books from R E Howard are public domain but the characters including Conan are owned/trademarked.

Well yes and no. You can own and trademark a certain look for public domain character. Like Frankenstein for example.

I can make Frankenstein statues all day long, as long as they don't look like the Universal Studios version. Universal has rights to their version so he's off limits, but if I do my own version then its fine.

Cthulhu is probably in the same boat, but, I'd have to look into what is and isn't covered under their ownership rights.

There were issues with Lovecrafts estate, which I don't think was a concern with the passing of R E Howard.

Interesting comparison though, because Lovecraft encouraged people to use each others works and Howard even contributed to some Cthulhu stories I believe?

I'm not all that familiar with Lovecraft's work except for his famous creation Cthulu. Yet PCS has label this piece under "Museum of Madness." Are there more characters to expand this line?
