ARTFX treatment advice

Hi! First time to own a 1/10 Koto and need help on how to remedy (if it is possible) two minor flaws in my Nightwing statue that arrived this week:

I noticed a slight abrasion and stripping of the glossy outer layer that reminds me of a cankle sore in a lip.

Almost the same problem at the back of his leg and I don't know if it scratched against something during production.

And lastly, any tips on how to care for these? Like maintenance and long-term storage (I ordered two and one is still MIB). Also, I've been reading about PVC and plasticizers and "sweating".. should I be concerned? Or does this only apply to the low-end statues with poor quality plastic?

Where did you order from? Quite a few companies will let you return pieces if there are paint flaws with them.

I agree with DK above. The easiest approach would be to return it for an exchange. Or for a full credit and then buy from another vendor.

Ugh.. had it bought by my uncle who lives in Japan. Would be a hassle to ship it back to him so he could return it to the hobby shop that is a long commute from his place. I guess it's not too big of a deal since I have a sealed second one stashed away.

I guess the silver lining here is that I will now know what to look for when I shop for statues in my LCS.

Sucks that your Nightwing has some minor damage. If you can't return him and are any good with painting you may try to fix him, I'd paint the red part of his suit blue to have more pre 52 Nightwing.

Was able to get another Nightwing and this time at my LCS. Apparently, I have the worst luck:

Fingerprint stain in the deltoid..

Speaking of these figures, I've got some of the ARTFX clone troopers that were released a few years ago. Recently, I noticed that their legs are starting to turn yellow.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?
